John Singer Sargent Self Portrait 1925, Ink on Paper, 7"x5"
A couple of weeks ago I began sketching from that book 500 Portraits and drawing portraits from paintings at the Met. I enjoy the crazy all over mark making with my pen. I also want to really investigate these paintings, sometimes when I look at them without drawing them I am not truly seeing the work.
